CARTESIAN MODELING - Overview
Cartesian modeling presumes input/output architecture
the observer is labeled with an 'e'
in principle, the observer has an experience of a world labeled 'W'
the observer proposes a
model
comprising Cartesian relationships among components that are considered to be objects or values "in the world"
the output of the model can be compared to actual behaviors in the world and potentially verify the model
the role of the observer in this model is the recorder of observations found "in the world" as an objective place
