Why would that be a good thing?<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s how I interpret it:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>An approach to IxD\u2014creating opportunities for interaction that, as much as possible, enable conversations. Even that can be unpacked to &#8220;&#8230; enable conversations among two or more human participants, or within one person, intended to enhance an individual&#8217;s ability to learn, to understand, and to decide.&#8221; The paper &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dubberly.com\/articles\/what-is-conversation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">What is Conversation?<\/a>&#8221; is an approachable introduction, and <a href=\"http:\/\/pangaro.com\/designing-for-conversation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this list of resources<\/a> goes further.<\/li>\n<li>An approach to &#8220;designing the designing&#8221;\u2014approaching and evolving the design process itself, in order to increase the quality of design outcomes.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/15836403\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">This video\u2014starting from 2&#8217;20&#8221; and through 25&#8217;45&#8221;<\/a>\u2014offers a critique of the steps in design thinking and a specific, alternative approach with its rationale.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Regarding #2, where do we begin?
