Instead of requiring the user to determine all sub-categories manually, FindItAll provides a function whereby it proposes a set of categories based solely on the excerpts collected by the user. Because FindItAll works on excerpts and not on entire documents, the focus and relevance of the resulting distinctions is very great. The display on the right shows a set of categories (in addition to the one provided manually by the user) automatically suggested by FindItAll. Through further menu commands the user can delete or modify categories.
After requesting to View Excerpt of the entry shown in blue in the FindItAll display on the right, the user is shown in the browser window on the left an excerpt with all of the category names clearly marked.
