13: Viewing cover pages

Observe the cover page for collected objects

For each collected object, the View Pane contains essential data about the object in its cover page.

View Pane displays object's cover page
  1. In the Collection Bin, choose (single-click) the Web URL that you collected earlier. Observe the contents of the View Pane.
  2. At the top of the View Pane, there is a cover page that contains essential data, also called meta data, about the object. This always includes the title, the author ("Created by...") and the date of its last modification. Refer to screen shot
  3. Note the box which contains the To view or download hyperlink. This hyperlink identifies the object. In this case, the link is the URL. Refer to screen shot
  4. In addition, the View Pane always displays the selected object's context. Refer to screen shot
